X-D1 (X-Dressage 1) is a solution from Prestige Italy and Carsten'a Engelke for the eternal problem of reconciling the convenience and comfort of the horse with the needs and expectations of riders to the professional dressage saddle. On one side stand veterinarians, chiropractics, masseurs, physiotherapists, who claim that horses need short saddles with hard filled cushions and widest spacing of the panels, giving a lot of freedom to the spine and back muscles. On the other side stand the riders who are looking for hard contact saddles, seating them close to  a horse back. The fulfillment of all these requirements is a saddle D1.
